Real Berlin Indie Folk Pop

We finally arrived and it feels just great to be back in OZ!

Mensch, Monique! - Philae live @Humph Hall Sydney

We already had fantastic seafood, a few fabulous bottles of white wine, all sorts of wheater, a broken surfboard and of course - so many lovely people looking after us and handmade music.

We´re coming to OZ

We´re very excited and super happy to announce our little Australia tour 2023. It´s been a while and we´re looking forward to catch up with our Aussie Friends & Fans. Rob Rayner did a great job and booked a few handpicked shows in NSW, VIC and ACT.

Please come along, let´s have some fun and catch some barrels :-). More Infos here

Mensch, Monique! performs "Windtunnel Pete"

Jule finally found her tap shoes again and we thought - "why don´t we do it in a church". We asked the incredible duo "Lutz&Laune" from Berlin if they wanna join us for this tune - and they did - have a look!

The Schlosskirche Neustrelitz is a neo-gothic building from the 1850ies and a great location for exhibitions, concerts and performances. This video was made possible with the support of Sergio Zabaglione on camera and Morten Luxenburger ´s bunch of microphones and expertise in recording. Paul Eisen did the final audiomix. Thanks guys - you´re awesome. Thumbs up to our host Erik Swiatloch from the Kulturquartier Mecklenburg Strelitz and the good soul of the Schlosskirche.

Mensch, Monique!

Katoomba NSW 2780

We have been hampered, until now, by floods and freezing temperatures, but La Nina´s icy fingers appear to have relinquished their dastardly grip on our weather and opened a window of Rockortunity on Thursday, the 26th of January - Public Holiday! (…and yes, just in case we do have a fabulous wet weather alternative in Wentworth Falls!) We will be featuring, from 3pm, an all-star lineup including, but not limited to... ...from Berlin, our beloved ex-Beez colleagues Jule and Georg with their band MENSCH, MONIQUE! www.menschmonique.de who are touring Australia from January to March with their gorgeous indie folk originals …from Melbourne, the fabulous SARAH AND SILAS www.sarahandsilas.com
a fiddlin´ fest to move the feet and warm the heart. …from Katoomba, the astounding MIC CONWAY www.micconway.com
with music, magic and mayhem …THE BEEZ, whose reputation receeds them Bring a chair. Bring a picnic. Bring some booze. Bring your friends and maybe even a beach umbrella….. But, most of all, bring what the Germans call Gute Laune - good spirits! Donations are $30 (or more if you wish) and all proceeds go (as they should!) to the musicians.
